How big your bracelet size is depends on your personal preferences. One wants a bracelet to hang loosely around the wrist, the other likes it a little tighter. Below we explain how you can easily measure your bracelet yourself.
Measure the circumference of your wrist
If you are going to measure the circumference of your wrist it is best to do this just above (towards your fingers) the lump of your wrist. Twist a tape measure around it and make sure it’s not too tight. The number of centimeters can be read immediately. If you don’t have a tape measure, you can choose to use a string. Twist the string around your wrist and put a line where the string crosses. Then measure the length of the string.
But beware! Your wrist size is not your bracelet size. It depends on how tight / loose you want the bracelet to be. The table below shows what you need to add to your wrist circumference to come to your bracelet size:
Tight bracelet
Bracelet size: Your wrist circumference + 0 cm
Normal bracelet
Bracelet size: Your wrist circumference + 1 cm
Loose bracelet:
Bracelet size: Your wrist circumference + 2 cm
Example: your wrist circumference is 17 cm and you want a normal bracelet, then add 3 cm to 17+1 = 18. So your bracelet size is 18.
